On Friday, 5th July 2024, Tamilex opened its doors to the public for the first time and showcase some of the work done here towards a historical dictionary of the Classical Tamil language. Manuscripts, old books, digitisation, encoding, recitation – all these things will be released open access and open source, but on this special day it will be our pleasure to receive visitors especially from the community of Tamilians abroad who support our work in various ways.
