Jean-Luc Chevillard has written up a new blog post on the print history of the Tivākaram, an important Tamil lexicon:

New old *words for Classical Tamil: Elements of information concerning the early print history of the Tivākaram, first Classical Tamil poetical vocabulary, in comparison with some MSS evidence

The post gives some information on the research that Jean-Luc has been conducting for many years, comparing printed editions and manuscripts of the text.
